HANDMADE WEDDING INVITATIONS

WE HAVE NO MINIMUM ORDER ON ANY OF OUR HANDMADE WEDDING INVITATION AND WEDDING STATIONERY RANGES

1. SAMPLE - It is recommended that you purchase a sample of your handmade wedding invitation in your colour scheme prior to ordering

2. BOOK YOUR SLOT - Contact us by email or phone with your wedding date and when you are looking to send out your wedding invitations.  We can then book you a slot in our order books.

3. PLACE YOUR ORDER -by email or phone.  You are advised to order your 'on the day' handmade wedding stationery such as order of service and place settings at the same time so we can book you a second slot to complete these nearer your wedding date.  Wording/details and quantities for 'on the day' items will be confirmed at a later date.  You will not pay for any more items than ordered if you have over-estimated the numbers on your initial order. A 50% deposit is payable upon placement or an order which can be made by card or through paypal.

4. ORDER CONFIRMATION - you will receive an email to confirm your order details, pricing and delivery timescales.  If you are taking advantage of our free name and address printing service we will email you a template to complete with the relevant information.

5. PROOFS - are completed and sent for you to check prior to production.  At this stage you can make any amendments to the design/wording etc.

6. PRODUCTION - we will make up your order as confirmed by the proofs.  'On the day' stationery will be confirmed and produced nearer the wedding date.

7. DISPATCH - your order will be sent by courier or other trackable method and you will be contacted prior to dispatch to confirm a delivery address and delivery date so you can ensure someone is available to sign for the parcel.

WHEN TO ORDER AND BUY
Generally speaking you should plan to send out your invitations 6-8 weeks before your wedding date, allowing time for samples to be made and dispatched, proofing stage and production time. It is always advisable to order as early as possible especially if you are having a summer wedding, when orders are at their peak.  If you are planning an overseas wedding or have guests arriving from other countries you should try to allow extra time for sending invitations abroad.

WORK WITHIN YOUR BUDGET  
We are more than happy to adapt any of our designs to fit within your budget.  We will offer advice and possible design alternatives to enable you to keep within your spending limits.  Please email me at

Overseas orders - please contact us before placing an order.

Once we have received your order and deposit we will prepare proofs for you to check and return to us with any necessary amendments.

INFORMATION REQUIRED WITH YOUR ORDER    
We will need to know names, venues, times, date for RSVP, reply address etc for your invitation inserts along with your preference for standard or formal wording.    We have a selection of fonts available for your printed inserts, or you may have a particular one in mind.   If you have no particular preference we will choose a font to coordinate with your invitation.  Remember, if you are unhappy with any of the layout or design, you may make changes on your draft before we go ahead with the order.  Even if you do not have your wording and final details sorted, it is advisable to place orders as early as possible as our order book tends to fill quite quickly.  If we are printing guest names and printing addressed envelopes we will need your guest and address lists emailed in either Word or Excel.  We can provide templates if required.

For Order of Service and Menus we will need the exact wording required.  You may not have the wording for these at the time of placing an order.  Simply send them to us as soon as you have them available.

URGENT ORDERS  
We will try, within reason, to accommodate any urgent orders and make no extra charge for this service.  Please contact us to check availability.

DELIVERY
We aim to deliver your order within 2-3 weeks from confirmation of proofs.    Delivery (courier or special delivery) is charged at £8.50 per order (UK Mainland)  IOM, IOW, NI and overseas orders - please contact us for delivery charges.
 Items such as order of service, place settings and menu are not usually completed until details are finalised nearer the wedding date and are usually sent separately at  later date.  In this instance an additional postage charge may become payable.  We will only charge you the cost to us and you will be advised of any additional fee when your order is confirmed (please contact us prior to ordering/buying if you have any queries regarding this).
